Starting work is serious business. It means getting up, prepare for solat, breakfast before going to work. The trainees punch their cards and go to their respective work place.



The trainees are placed in the kitchen / food & beverage, laundry and house keeping.
The DWP trainees were well visited even though new to Silverpark Resort. While they were cleaning the activity room and the gym area, DWP trainees had visitors from weekend residents, holiday makers who came in to volunteer to assist.


They were visited by En Sulaiman Hj Ismail, Senior Assistant Director, Development of Persons with Disability Department and also a group of CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation) workers from Malacca who were being trained by CBR Network resource team at Shazan Inn.

This programme is to promote for Persons with Disability (PWD) to obtain decent and productive work in condition of freedom equity, security and human dignity. Strategies and practises for vocation and other skills are developed with the welfare of PWDs so that they will be able to sustain in their work place thus, achieving quality of life.

Decent Work Programme at Fraser's Silverpark Resort begun on the 9th November 2009. The trainees are now starting to acclimatize in the cool refreshing environment of Fraser's Hill and also getting to know each other and the people.


The trainees were introduced to the CBR Network Malaysia committee members, Silverpark Resort Management and the staff of CBR Network at a dinner gathering. They then adjourned for their prayers before treated to a karaoke night.
